THE parents of missing toddler Madeleine McCann are reported to have attended a pantomime in Southport as they tried to have a normal Christmas for the sake of their twins.

Kate and Gerry McCann were seen with their children Sean and Amelie, 2, at the Wednesday night performance of Aladdin at Southport Theatre.

It is understood a family member from Formby was among the cast, which starred Syd Little and Lisa Riley.

Theatre staff were alerted that the family would be in attendance, but no reference was made.

Four-year-old Madeleine went missing on May 3 from the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz.

Although the family are based in Rothley, Leicestershire, Kate McCann’s parents, Susan and Brian Healy, live in Mossley Hill, in Liverpool.
