Former Top Gear presenter Quentin Willson is among those who have signed up. He described Jaguar as “a vital part of the UK motor industry” and was keen to stress that it “accounts for 50% of all the industry’s research and development and supports 75,000 jobs, not to mention generating £4bn in exports.”
Mr Willson was joined by former Formula 1 racing driver David Coulthard, who also urged the Government to help the firm.
