SUPPORT JLR: Jaguar employee ‘man and boy’

KEITH SULLIVAN, 42, lives near the plant in Halewood, where he has worked as “man and boy” since 1988.

He’s a superintendent at the stamping plant, where they make panels for cars produced at Halewood and in JLR’s West Midlands sites.

“There was resistance to change in the Ford heyday but we got the facility ready to produce quality cars. It demonstrated the ability and mindset of the people to embrace change – and there is still a willingness to embrace change.

“The plant is such a big part of the local infrastructure. So many people you speak to have a link, whether they have worked here or know someone who has, or are involved in the supply chain.”
