VEHICLE scheduling analyst Chris Melling, 28 and from Aigburth, is a relative newcomer, having only joined the company in 1999 as an apprentice.
His role ensures that customers’ orders are suitably scheduled and parts arrive just in time, often less than three hours before they are needed.
“There’s a great drive from the workforce to deliver a quality product. As well as having a good team ethic we are committed to quality.
“I think it’s the plant’s focus towards the quality aspect of the vehicles that's why it’s really successful.
“The company has supported me from my days as an apprentice and then following on to my degree so I see myself here for a number of years.”
