Man crushed in industrial accident

A 42-YEAR-OLD man died after he was crushed by a trailer in an industrial accident in Burscough, west Lancashire, yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Salthouse Farm in Moss Lane at 3.30pm to reports of a male involved in an accident with a trailer.

On arrival, the man was found to be dead. He was named last night as William Prescot, who was local to the area.
