Car collides with JCB

A MAN is fighting for his life after his car was involved in a collision with a JCB digger.

The man was driving a Vauxhall Vectra along Knowsley Lane, Huyton, near to the junction with Stockbridge Lane at 4.50pm on Thursday when the incident happened.

The 49-year-old from West Derby was taken to Walton Neurological Centre. Anyone with information is asked to call the police or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
