ENGLAND all-rounder Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff was yesterday bowling his audience over at Knowsley Safari Park – as a sealion show presenter.
Whilst his team-mates were at Trent Bridge playing against India in the second Test, the Lancashire star, out of cricket action through an ankle injury, was filming his Sky TV series Ready Steady Freddie.
Flintoff takes up different career roles throughout the show including a fireman, a hairdresser, a radio DJ, a bingo caller and an Elvis impersonator. The Knowsley Safari Park crowd were hit for six as the rookie sealion presenter made his debut in the Sealion house.
David Ross, the Safari Park’s general manager, said: “We really enjoyed having Freddie with us, as did our visitors who were obviously very surprised when they saw who was the guest presenter of the sealion show.”
Freddie’s sealion exploits can are expected to be seen as part of Cricket AM on Sky Sports One at 9am on Saturday August 4.
