Car theft warning

OWNERS of Vauxhall Corsa cars in Wirral have been sent letters by police saying they could be targeted by car thieves.

Merseyside Police have written to owners of older models of Corsas in the Bidston and St James, Claughton and Oxton areas.

They have been offering them advice following a spate of offences against these type of vehicles.

The letter offers suggestions to help prevent the owners of these type of vehicles from becoming a victim of opportunist car crime.
