Four held in raid

FOUR men were arrested following a raid by police on a garage in Wirral.

A 51-year-old man from the Birkenhead area was arrested on suspicion of fraudulent evasion of excise duty.

A 45 year-old man from Wallasey and a 20 year-old man from Prenton were both arrested in relation to stolen vehicle parts found during the search and a fourth man aged 30 from Wallasey was arrested in relation to a stolen motorcycle.

All four have been released on police bail.

Inspector Cliff Barr said: “We were very pleased with the results of the warrant executed.”
