Youths burgle petrol station

TWO youths escaped with a large amount of cash stolen from the safe in a petrol filling station in Chester.

The burglary took place during the afternoon when the pair walked out of the Esso garage, on Park- gate Road, with what a police spokesman called “quite a large quantity of cash”.

Police have released CCTV images of the two and appealed for anyone with information about the theft, which took place at around 2.25pm on Sunday, August 5, to contact them.

The police spokesman said: “We are doing our best to locate these people.”
