Man, 20, arrested on gun charge

DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Thomas Harrison have arrested a 20-year-old Huyton man on suspicion of having discharged a firearm.

Police are keen to speak to two other Huyton men – Kevin Keegan Corke, 31, and Carl Anthony Taylor, 20, – who, they believe, could assist with the ongoing investigation.

Mr Harrison, 29, was stabbed as he walked along Edinburgh Drive in the early hours of Sunday, August 5.

Yesterday his family made the following statement via police:

“We’re all devastated – the whole family and community.

“We have lost the most precious person in our lives and our family will never be the same again.

“Anyone with information on the death of our Tommy, please come forward.”
