Officers warned

THE Chief Constable of Cheshire has written to all staff asking them to come forward if they feel they may have got themselves into any compromising situations.

It follows the emergence of pictures of PC Joe Pierce, 34, with two women in a country lane near Warrington during a night shift.

He has since been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

PC Pierce has now resigned bringing an end to his six-year police career.
