THE hunt for two men wanted in connection with the murder of a Huyton dad was today extended to Europe.

Detectives desperately want to speak to brothers Kevin Keegan Corke, 31, and Carl Anthony Taylor, 20.

They are wanted in connection with the fatal knifing of 29-year-old Thomas Harrison.

He was stabbed in the chest shortly after leaving a birthday party in Huyton in the early hours of Sunday, August 5.

Now police, who have released pictures of the pair, think they may be set to leave the UK for the continent.

Intelligence suggests Corke and Taylor are in the south of England or in north Wales.

Officers have now approached Interpol as they examine the possibility the men have fled overseas.

Det Ch Insp Martin Andrew, leading the investigation, said: “We are anxious to trace a number of people who may be able to help with inquiries including Kevin Keegan Corke and Carl Anthony Taylor.“We have also been in contact with ports and approached Interpol for their assistance.”

The two men are brothers of Paul Taylor, who was jailed for life for the racist murder of student Anthony Walker in Huyton.

And they are cousins of Michael Barton, who was also imprisoned for the attack in 2005.

Police believe Mr Harrison got into an argument with his killer at an 18th birthday party at the St John’s social club.

Mr Harrison was confronted in nearby Edinburgh Road and stabbed to death.

His killers then fled in a silver-coloured car.

Mr Harrison’s girlfriend Pamela Nile, 24, cradled him as he lay bleeding in the street but he died a short time later in hospital.

One man has already been arrested in connection with the murder of Mr Harrison after shots were fired at the scene.

He was charged with possession of an imitation gun.
