Talented artists get city showcase

ARTISTS from across the world have arrived in Liverpool to share their talents.

The artists, who specialise in everything from performance and video, to sculpture and painting, are the guests of Liverpool Hope University.

They are spending two weeks in Merseyside having travelled from European countries as well as India, Cuba, Columbia, Japan, Jordan and Peru.

Lin Holland, a senior lecturer in fine art at Liverpool Hope, has been arranging similar workshops for 10 years. Ms Holland said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for artists from all over the world to come together.”

The artists will stage an open day at the A Foundation Building in Greenland Street on Saturday between 1pm and 6pm.
