A EUROPE-WIDE hunt for two prime suspects wanted in connection with the murder of stab victim Tommy Harrison ended yesterday after they handed themselves in.
Kevin Corke, 31, and his half-brother Carl Taylor, 20, walked into a police station in Hanley, Staffordshire.
Father-of-one Mr Harrison, 29, was fatally stabbed on Edinburgh Drive in Huyton in the early hours of August 5 following an argument at a party at St John’s social club.
The two were taken from Hanley to a police station on Merseyside yesterday, where they were being questioned last night.
Mr Harrison’s family have spoken out for the first time of their loss, and said that in life nothing mattered to him more than his three-year-old son, Joel.
His sister Jenny Harrison, 30, said: “He was my best friend and always will be.
“He was always laughing and joking.”
