Drug addict spared jail

A WOMAN who sold drugs to help fund her own addiction has been spared a jail sentence.

Ann Fletcher, 35, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to possessing crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply and four charges of supplying the class A drugs.

Geoffrey Greenwood, prosecuting, said Fletcher of Eveson Street, Toxteth, was honest with police and said she was dealing drugs for about £1,000 a day and was receiving £60 to fund her habit.
