Call centre company to recruit 100 staff thanks to new contract

A WIRRAL company is about to almost double its workforce after winning a contract with Woolworths.

The Contact Company, based in Birkenhead, which was set up just over a year ago, has gone from strength to strength since setting up in May last year..

Now they are about to recruit another 100 staff to add to their existing complement of 125.

The Contact Company’s chief executive, Asif Hamid, joined forces with former Vodafone and Littlewoods manager Juliet Rhodes to set up the specialist call centre company.

Mr Hamid said: “This contract is further evidence of our growing profile within the competitive contact centre industry and demonstrates the confidence that large blue chip companies have in us to deliver a high quality service.”

THE company is holding a recruitment open day at Wirral Museum, Birkenhead, tomorrow.
