Brothers in court charged with murdering young father

TWO brothers accused of murdering a young father have appeared before Liverpool crown court for the first time.

Kevin Keegan Corke, 31 and Carl Anthony Taylor, 20, were before the court via a video-link from Walton prison, where they are currently on remand.

They are both accused of murdering Tommy Harrison, 29, on Huyton’s St John’s estate in the early hours of August 5.

The father-of-one was stabbed to death close to his home after leaving a birthday party at a social club.

The pair, neither of whom has a fixed address, did not enter a plea, but are expected to do so on October 29.

Judge Gerald Clifton provisionally fixed their trial to begin on January 14 and remanded them both in custody.
