Benitez joins wife and players’ wives at opening of children’s boutique

LIVERPOOL manager Rafa Benitez joined his wife Montse and player’s wives Alex Curran and Nicola Carragher at the opening of a new children’s boutique last night.

Strawberry Children’s Wear on Aigburth Road is branded as the “Wags’ number one destination for children’s clothes”.

Montse Benitez is a patron of the Lily Centre, for which the stylish shop intends to hold several fundraising events throughout the year.

The centre, based in Vauxhall, supports 500 breast cancer sufferers and survivors.

Owner Kimberley Allen said: “I am so excited we are finally open for business.”

Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Paul Frank, Monna Lisa, and Joseph are just some of the designers in stock at the shop and Alex, wife of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, wasted no time in finding some stylish clothes for daughters Lexie and Lilly-Ella.
