Injured in M62 crash

A WOMAN was seriously injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on the M62 last night.

Traffic tailed back as far as Merseyside after the crash at 5pm at the Junction 11 on the east-bound carriageway, near the Birchwood roundabout on the Cheshire/Manchester border.

The woman’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
