Leading brain surgeons meet in Liverpool for international conference

MANY of the world’s leading brain surgeons gathered at Liverpool’s St George’s Hall for their annual conference.

The gathering was made up of around 450 health care professionals dealing with children who have neurosurgical diseases.

Merseyside-based businesses such as The Maghull Group, Hornport Construction and Downing Developments, along with a number of individual donors, contributed toward the cost of staging the International Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) conference.

Delegates were welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Paul Clark, who said: “We are delighted to host this conference in Liverpool for the first time and we are pleased that the programme showcases the best that Liverpool can offer.”
