Liverpool hosts big student party

LIVERPOOL has been chosen as the prime location for Europe’s biggest student night on September 22.

The Guild at Liverpool University, Europe’s largest student union, will play home to Showtime, a night boasting six music arenas, exclusive VIP rooms and the ultimate student house party.

The event, which will also be open to non students, will take place every Saturday during study term.

There will be a Rockyoke stage that will give people the chance to sing with a live band.

The Stanley Theatre will host Teenage Kicks for new unsigned bands.

Tickets for the night cost £4 with an NUS card before 10.30pm, and £5 after. Guest tickets (for non students) are £6.

For the event’s launch party on September 22, tickets are priced £10.

Tickets are available from www.lgos.org, The Font, on Arrad Street, the Guild shop at Liverpool University and the Carnatic Halls shop.
