Quentin Tarantino: 'I was on fire after vinyl find'

HOLLYWOOD director Quentin Tarantino’s hunt for a rare music track ended at a Liverpool record shop.

Vinyl fan Tarantino, 44, has been searching for one rare Ringo Starr track for years.

The director was in Liverpool this week to promote his new film, Death Proof.

He told one reporter: “I found this great little record shop in Liverpool, Hairy Records.

“There’s one record I’ve been hunting for worldwide for years.

“It’s the Ringo Starr title track from his western film, Blindman, and they had it.

“I was on fire.”

Carl Walkom, who has worked at the shop for more than 30 years, said Tarantino was thrilled to find the rare 45.
