Woman, 89, injured

A PENSIONER suffered a suspected broken neck after she was hit by a BMW motorcycle while crossing the road.

The 89-year-old was last night in a serious condition in hospital after the collision just after 1pm at the Swan Lane junction of Hindley Green, near Wigan.
