Man posing as police officer assaults boy

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was indecently assaulted by a man posing as a police officer in Runcorn.

The youngster was with a friend in the Old Town area of Runcorn at 8.30pm on Friday night when a man approached them saying he was a plain clothes officer.

The man is described as being white, 18 years old, around five foot 10ins with a chubby build and brownish-blonde hair which was spiky on top.
