Wirral girl attacked as she walked along road

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl was attacked as she walked along a road in Wirral.

Police are now calling for witnesses.

At around 10.45am on Sunday, September 16, the girl was walking alone along Stuart Road, Tranmere.

She was approached by a blue estate-type car.

It pulled over and a man asked for directions. He then grabbed the victim around the throat before the driving away.

The offender is described as a white male, aged 40, unshaven with dark hair and was wearing a dark coloured jacket.
