A jewel in the box: Liverpool legend and wife hail new designs

KENNY and Marina Dalglish were among the guests for the launch of new jewellery and fashion collections in Liverpool last night.

Tuebrook-born designer and dressmaker Philip Armstrong joined forces with jewellers Boodles, which was launching a new range of affordable jewellery called Velocity.

Mr Armstrong, 39, from Tuebrook, said: “We’re a Liverpool brand and I’m very proud that we’ve grown locally and nationally.

“Our new range complements Boodles’ collection very well.”

Boodles manager Andrew Lewis said: “We have been part of Liverpool culture for 207 years and we are delighted to have collaborated with a local designer to launch our new collection.”
