A BOY was injured in a collision with a car as he walked home from school yesterday.
The six-year-old was struck on Queens Drive, Liverpool, at about 3.30pm.
He was last night being treated at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital after the incident involving a Ford Fiesta.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said the child’s injuries were not life threatening.
Officers closed part of the road between the Fiveways and Thingwall Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
