Classical dance star introduces city to ancient Indian tradition

VISITORS to Liverpool’s World Museum yesterday were treated to a display of ancient Indian dancing rarely seen in the UK.

Award-winning clas- sical dance star Men-aka Bora is an expert in Sattriya dancing, and performed a choreography in full traditional costume telling the story of the Hindu god Vishnu.

It was a taster for a workshop that Ms Bora will be hosting on October 20.
