Drugs seized in police swoop

MORE than £170,000 of drugs were seized in a raid at a Liverpool crack house.

A Merseyside Police neighbourhood dis-ruption team searched two houses in the Walton area. Crack cocaine and heroin worth more than £170,000 were recovered. David Brown, 26, of Stuart Road, Walton, was arrested on two counts of possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.

A 27-year-old woman, also from Walton, was arrested on two counts of possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply, and has been released on bail.
