Hospital to be renamed

THE BUPA Murrayfield Hospital in Wirral is to be renamed.

From next Monday, it will be known as Spire Murrayfield Hospital.

Murrayfield was one of 25 acute care hospitals and one treatment centre bought by European firm Cinven.

Also sold by BUPA was North Cheshire Hospital in Warring- ton. Cinven already owns Partnerships In Care, a leading provider of specialist mental health and related services.
