Alex smells success in her new venture

THE wife of Liverpool football star Steven Gerrard is set to follow fellow WAGS in launching her own fragrance.

Mother-of-two Alex Curran will unveil her new perfume at The Perfume Shop, in Liverpool’s St John’s Centre, on Monday.

The 24-year-old former nail technician will put in a personal appearance at the store to promote the Alex fragrance, which is being launched in conjunction with a gossip magazine for which she is a regular columnist.

And she joins a queue of others who have got the scent of another source of income.

Her close personal friend and glamour model Jordan – aka Katie Price – has her own new perfume, Stunning.

Wayne Rooney’s fiancée Coleen McLoughlin has launched her own fragrance, Coleen X.

A spokesperson for The Perfume Shop said: “Alex has become a well-respected and admired style icon in her own right and her fragrance has been long awaited. The launch will be a unique opportunity for fans to come to see Alex selling it over the counter and chatting with shoppers.

“She will be signing autographs and bottles of her fragrance, and we hope many people in Liverpool will come along and try it for themselves.”
