Haunted fishtank claim by aquarium

CLAIMS that the Blue Planet Aquarium is haunted were being investigated by paranormal experts yesterday.

Six members of the ghost hunting team spent the night at the aquarium from 7pm until 4am hoping to catch a sight of the ghosts that are rumoured to patrol the aquarium’s corridors.

The experts from the Supernatural Encounters team, which holds vigils around the UK in search of the paranormal, found lots of spooks in residence at the aquarium, including a soldier who died in 1513 and a naughty spirit that likes to make the doors bang.

Mike McManus, founder of the group, said: “We had also heard the rumours about the ghosts that are supposed to haunt Blue Planet and were thrilled to be invited to spend the night there.

“The whole team experienced a high level of paranormal activity at the aquarium. It would appear it’s more than just sharks that go bump in the night.”

Park director, Andy Hygate, said: “We decided to find out once and for all what keeps the sharks company late in the night when we’ve all gone home.’
