TWO attacks in less than a month on lone women in car parks in south Wirral are being “tentatively linked”, police said last night.
In the latest attack in the early hours of Monday, a 45-year-old woman fought off the attacker who grabbed her shoulder.
She managed to escape but a similar incident earlier in the month saw another woman dragged to the floor before fighting off a man who then stole her mobile phone.
Cheshire Police have now issued an e-fit of a man they want to question in connection with both attacks.
The first attack happened on Thursday October 11 at around 11.45pm in the car park opposite the Wetherspoon pub in Neston, shortly after the 37-year-old victim had left the pub.
The most recent attack occurred between 12.15am and 12.45am on Monday (October 29) as the 45-year-old victim was walking on the car park between Brooke Street and Raby Road.
