HUNDREDS of children and adults attended the annual Halloween Lantern Carnival held at Sefton Park last night.
A variety of Halloween-themed figures paraded around the lake, including skeleton drummers and others in the shape of animals.
The procession made its way around the entire boating lake, in a changed route from previous years.
The event was organised by the Liverpool Lantern Company, an artist led organisation originally set up to establish a spectacular community-based Lantern Carnival in Liverpool and to promote creativity, celebration and unity within and across local communities.
