M56 death funeral to be held today

Guy Davies, killed on the m56

THE funeral of one of the two little boys killed on the M56 motorway in Runcorn last week will be held today (Fri).

Mourners will pay their last respects to six-year-old Guy Davies at Walton Lea crematorium in Walton, Warrington.

A service for his friend Kieran Coupe, seven, will be held at Murdishaw church in Halton, Runcorn, on Monday.

The youngsters were hit by three cars as they pushed their scooters across the busy motorway just as relatives began a search for them.

Kieran’s father, Colin Lambert, 31, said he had been teaching his son about the Green Cross Code - but believed the schoolboys did not realise they were straying on to a motorway.
