Funeral of tragic Liam Costello

THE funeral of a schoolboy who died after falling from a mountain in Wales takes place today.

Liam Costello, 11, from Childwall, was walking with his father and eight-year-old brother, Tom, on October 26 when he slipped from a ridge on Snowdon and fell 200ft, suffering severe head injuries.

The Woolton Warriors junior player had just started at St Francis Xavier’s College.

He will be remem-bered during the service at Our Lady Bishop Eton, Woolton Road, Wavertree, starting at noon.
