Girl fighting for life after road accident

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl suffered life-threatening head injuries when she was hit by a car in Liverpool.
Paramedics were so concerned about the girl’s injuries they radioed ahead to Alder Hey children’s hospital after the accident at around 7.45pm yesterday.
Police closed off part of West Derby Road near to Newsham Park, while they dealt with the incident.
The driver of the car stopped and was helping police with their inquiries last night.
