Guard attacked in Warrington

AN ARMED robber threatened a security guard at knife point and punched him in the face during an attack in Warrington.

The guard was in the car park of B&Q in Winwick when he was attacked at around 4.55pm on Thursday.

The robber ran off with a cashbox to a R-registered dark green Ford Mondeo.

He was skinny and 6ft 1in tall, wearing a green hooded top and dark trousers.
