A FOUR-MONTH-OLD baby boy was being treated by specialists at Alder Hey after an incident which police are investigating.

It is believed the child, from the Llanrwst area of North Wales, suffered a fit and was rushed to a local hospital by paramedics on Friday.

But he was transferred to Alder Hey, where his family were yesterday at his bedside on Saturday.

North Wales police are investigating an incident involving the child, but no precise details were being released.

The incident is understood to have happened in the late morning on Friday.

A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “Police are conducting further inquiries.”
