Burglar steals student’s work

A UNIVERSITY student has lost all her coursework and lecture notes after thieves stole her personal laptop.

Last night police appealed for information following the burglary.

The incident happened on November 3 at a property in Ash Grove, Prescot.

The victim, who is an undergraduate in Yorkshire, had returned home to visit her family.

At approximately 6pm, she left the living room of the family home and spotted an intruder in the hallway.

He escaped with her laptop and a mobile phone via the front door, which was closed but not locked.

The laptop, a blue Toshiba 8200 worth £600, contained all of her university work.

The offender is white, slim build and about 19.

He was 5ft 8 tall and had a thin face, short blond hair and white T-shirt.

Another man was also spotted outside the house at the time.
