FACT projects stark message on drinking

STARK messages which encourage people to drink sensibly are being projected onto the wall of FACT in Liverpool city centre to target people in the run-up to Christmas.

It is part of Liverpool Primary Care Trust’s (PCT) Pssst! alcohol awareness campaign and can be seen after dark every day between now and the end of January.

Dr Paula Grey, director of public health for Liverpool said: “This is another way of getting our message across as we seek to change people’s attitudes to drinking safely and also marks the start of joint working between Liverpool PCT and FACT.

“We hope people will take the messages on board when they are moving from one venue to another.”

Mike Stubbs, Director of FACT said: “We’re pleased to be able to do our bit to support the Pssst! campaign.”

The campaign was recently awarded best communications project at the Health Service Journal awards.
