Fashion designers from around the world seize chance to showcase talents

A PRIZE-WINNING Merseyside designer is among a host of talent involved in the Design Show Liverpool, which held its official launch yesterday.

The event has attracted global interest and gives new and establish- ed designers a chance to showcase work.

The launch at hotel 62 Castle Street saw the creative forces behind the event gather together – including the winner of Sky One’s Project Catwalk, Kirsty Doyle, from Anfield, who will put together catwalk shows for the event.

The show will run from June 20-22 in the Crypt of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Della Tinsley, director of the show, said: “We are so excited and have attracted so much talent, it is an international show but also has lots of local input.”
