Man arrested in connection with Halewood shooting

A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man shot dead at the wheel of his car on Merseyside.
Father-of-one Derek Stevens, 35, was driving along Mackets Lane, Halewood, on Saturday when the shooting took place.
He was killed by a single bullet which was fired through the windscreen of his gold Land Rover.
The 27-year-old from Halewood was arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by police.
