THE date has been set for the grand opening of Liverpool One.
The first phase of the £1bn retail scheme will be opened to the public on May 29 with parties and promotions.
A spokeswoman for the Grosvenor-inspired scheme said the second phase of the Paradise Street project was likely to open towards the end of September.
She said: “The official opening day of May 29 has now been decided for the first phase of Liverpool One.
“There will be entertainment and parties as only Liverpool can do. And we can say there will also be big, big fashion statements.”
