Gang robs 12-year-olds

THREE 12-year-old boys were robbed by a masked gang who dragged them into an alleyway in Widnes.

The youngsters had their mobile phones taken from them after being threatened with a screwdriver by the robbers.

Police have appealed for witnesses or information about the robbery which took place at around 8pm on Sunday in the Bancroft Road area.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said the group of six robbers all wearing balaclavas took three Samsung mobile phones before running off towards Moorfield Road.
