Everton Stadium opposed

KIRKBY Residents Action Group (KRAG) meet on Friday to discuss their opposition to an Everton FC stadium and Tesco superstore in their town.

The group maintains that objections against the scheme are not being listened to by Knowsley Council, and has been coordinating opposition to the plans during the public consultation which ends on February 11.

Among other things, KRAG is calling for a public inquiry into the plans. The group meet at 6.30pm at Holy Angels Church, Sidney Powell Avenue, Westvale, Kirkby.
