Bid to seize assets of drugs baron is launched

A DRUGS baron who planned to flood the streets with £48m-worth of drugs could be stripped of his ill-gotten gains.

Liverpool property developer Edward Jarvis was jailed for 28 years in 2005.

At Liverpool Crown Court yesterday, a date was set for a proceeds of crime hearing, which could see Jarvis stripped of all his assets – including a property in Spain.
