Cheshire County Council rules out court fight over boundary changes

CHESHIRE County Council leaders have ruled out a legal challenge to plans to merge local authorities across the county.
Councillors concluded that expending funds on such a challenge posed an unacceptable risk to the public purse.
Council leader Paul Findlow said: “ Our first duty must always be to the council taxpayers.
