Schools introduce Somali studies

SCHOOLS in south Liverpool are among the first in the country to introduce Somali as a language subject.
Liverpool City Council is planning to introduce the African language in several schools at the end of February.
Initially, six pupils will be allowed to study the language at an after-school club.
